Weinert Tonel Unico No. 111

Tonel 111 comes from a 5800-liter barrel that did not make it into the final blend of the Weinert Malbec Estrella 1994 because it had too much vigor. The last wine crafted by Don Raúl de la Mota, this Malbec, despite its 23 years, is impressively youthful, with crisp red fruits and notes of menthol and anise. It is deep in flavors and has firm acidity that enhances its structure and grants balance to the wine. It reflects the personality imparted by our large French oak barrels that rest in underground cellars. Sourced from single-barrel lots, these are limited editions that aim to play with the character each barrel bestows upon our wines.
